With 52 miles of shoreline, Lake Almanor is the perfect destination spread across a natural wonderland. Lake Almanor also is an integral part of Lassen Volcanic National Park, which contains the southernmost volcano in the Cascade mountain range. This 106,372 acre park provides a vast range of activities that vary according to the season. There are 150 miles of hiking trails that vary in difficulty.

The new Kohn Ya-mah-nee Visitor Center is open all year and features an exhibit hall, indoor theater, outdoor amphitheater, gift shop, food and drink, and a well-stocked bookstore.
